Hope and fullness


Sculpture "Hope and fullness" to the Mexican College of Rheumatology, unveiled at the Chapultepec Castle in October 2012.

The composition has three hands, on the floor is a hand with rheumatoid arthritis, with volume in the metacarpophalangeal and carpal (wrist on the dorsal) characteristic of the disorder, in the middle of the sculpture is a hand with early rheumatoid arthritis, can be seen and some swelling in the metacarpophalangeal and the carpus, at the top of the composition found a healthy hand. Both sick hands are seeing opposite from the healthy hand, it aims to give the idea that rheumatology, pain behind ... The whole bottom of the composition is formed by leaves and branches characteristic of my work, depicting the life and ways of what Gaudí called "liquid architecture”.
