Many years ago, when I was a very young artist, a man came to me in one of my first exhibition, and he ask me about some of my works, and he said he was a journalist, then in a small notebook he wrote carefully all I was saying to him, he ask me if i could give him some pictures of my paintings, in those days there was no internet, so I gave him some printed pictures I had on hand ... a few days later, the newspaper showed a full page on my work , that gentleman turned out to be Mr. Ignacio Mendoza Rivera, who had won the national award for journalism ... this happened in December 1998 when I was 23 years old and I remember with I appreciate that, it was something very special in my career. | Eduardo Urbano Merino
